Your folding box can be printed on the outside in 4-color Euroscale (+ white). For printing on both sides, please contact our customer service.

The outside of your folding box needs a varnish or protective laminate. The varnish provides light protection for the printed image. The protective laminate offers greater protection against environmental influences and a special feel (matt / glossy / soft-touch).

You can choose a production time of 10 and 6 business days, delivery in 2 business days. The option of express production and delivery in 3 business days is only possible with the 280 gram GC2 cardboard.

We work from Monday to Friday. The only exceptions are the German holidays.

  • The pillow box - what exactly is it?  

    When you choose our cushion packaging made of cardboard, you are also choosing a particularly creative, eye-catching and secure type of packaging. The elliptical shape of our pillow boxes makes your packaging stand out from other packaging solutions and catches the eye. 

    This underpins the special nature of your packaged products. The pillow boxes, also known as pillow boxes, set real functional standards in addition to visual accents. This starts with the closure.

    Thus, with pillow boxes you do not need a plug closure, as is the case with many folding boxes. Thanks to the convex shape, tension is automatically created. This ensures the reliable stability of your pillowbox throughout.  

In addition, you have direct access to your packaging from both sides, which allows you to fill, open and close it at any time without any problems.   • Different variants of a box   

    Not all pillow boxes are the same - in fact, you can adapt your packaging very flexibly to your requirements. At Palamo, you have the option to customize the size of your box byspecifying different values. In addition, we offer you the option to print different designs on your pillow box through a four-color Euroscale. 

  • Possible dimensions for the pillow box  

    At Palamo, you can freely choose the format of your pillow box within broad limits. To do this, use our Smart Configurator. Please note that the values always refer to the inside dimensions of the boxes.  

    In case of doubt, you should configure your packaging two millimeters larger than the dimensions of your product. Regardless of the individual dimensions you choose, the size of the glue tab is always 11 mm. The dimensions that you can specify for your pillow box with us are as follows:
    - Height: 70 - 400 mm
    - Width: 8 - 26 mm
    - Length: 35 - 300 mm 

    With all that said, you should also be aware of two important details. First, the final Width of your pillow box may differ minimally from the value you specified. Also, keep in mind that the filling height is always slightly less than the total height - the reason for this is the lid of the pillow box. 

  • Custom designs on your pillow box  

    To bring color into your packaging creation, the four-color Euroscale is available for the outer surface. The spectrum of colors and color combinations is enormous, so we offer you plenty of scope and freedom of action in this area.  

    So there are almost no limits to the Colour of the print design that you can send to us as a PDF file at the end of your order. This applies regardless of whether you want to place logos or other prints on the pillow box.   • The material: One packaging, many possibilities 

    For the production of our pillow boxes we use high quality cardboard in different variants. All the materials your Palamo pillow box can be made of are stable and recyclable. In total, you will find five cardboard variants to choose from. 

  • white folding carton 

    Our white cardboard is available in two different versions. The main differences are the grammage and the color of the reverse side. At Palamo, you can get it with a beige back and a white back. The former has a grammage of 280 g/m², the latter is 350 g/m².

    Both options of the white cardboard offer an optimal basis for your product design and look high-quality due to the neutral color. The variant with a grammage of 350 g/m² also shines with a special degree of stability. 

  • The grammage is the weight per square meter of paper or cardboard. It is specified in grams per square meter. Often, a higher grammage goes hand in hand with the fact that the paper or cardboard is thicker at the same time.

  • Brown cardboard 

    Our brown cardboard has a smooth front side and a rough back side. With a grammage of 400 g/m² and a thickness of 0.56 mm, it is comparatively thick and strong. At the same time, the brown color gives it a particularly natural look, which will certainly be favored by your customers if they place a high value on sustainability. The cardboard is therefore suitable for all your products that you sell with a marketing strategy with a focus on environmental protection.

Bright white cardboard

The bright white cardboard from Palamo, on the other hand, has the heaviest grammage in our range: it weighs 450 grams per square meter. Its noble look makes it ideal if you want to use your pillow box to suitably package higher-quality and more exclusive products or gifts.

Our grass boxboard is produced from recycled grass paper and is, like all other materials you find at Palamo, recyclable again. It convinces your customers with a green and natural looking appearance. The grass boxboard has a thickness of 0.52 millimeters and a grammage of 350 g/m². 

Maybe you imagine a different material for your pillow shades. In this case, you are welcome to mail us your wishes and we will advise you what is possible.

  • The final touch for your pillow box  

    Give your packaging the finishing touch with an exquisite finish - at Palamo this is possible at any time. A glossy protective coating, for example, underlines the noble character of your packaged product.

Alternatively, you can opt for a matte varnish that scores points with your customers thanks to its understatement. You also have the option of choosing between a glossy or matte protective laminate. These options give you a visual effect in the form of an improved print image. As a result, the font is easier to read and the images appear clearer.

The latter is particularly important as a small detail if the packaging is to be an eye-catcher and attract as much attention as possible. In addition, you protect the pillow boxes from damage caused by external influences. For example, our finishes are ideal for preventing scratches on the pillow boxes.
