Please enter the total quantity of your folding boxes here. The smallest order quantity is 1 piece. For a sample you set the quantity to 1 - we will charge the costs with the first batch you order from us.

Your folding box can be printed on the outside in 4-color Euroscale (+ white). For printing on both sides, please contact our customer service.

The outside of your folding box needs a varnish or protective laminate. The varnish provides light protection for the printed image. The protective laminate offers greater protection against environmental influences and a special feel (matt / glossy / soft-touch).

You can choose a production time of 10 and 6 business days, delivery in 2 business days. The option of express production and delivery in 3 business days is only possible with the 280 gram GC2 cardboard.

We work from Monday to Friday. The only exceptions are the German holidays.

  • What are Slipcases and why do you need them?

    Our cardboard sleeves are the ideal addition to your packaging. They resemble a folding box, but they are open on both sides. Therefore, they are also called sliding boxes.


    You can slide them over the packaging like a banderole and they offer several advantages: On the one hand, your packaged goods are protected from scratches and other external influences by this protective cardboard. On the other hand, it can also be printed over the entire surface and thus offers you additional space for advertising messages or information.


    Slipcases are used, for example, as covers for books, and have been since the Middle Ages. They were already used back then to protect valuable writings from weathering, but also to mark them.

    They are still used for this function in some cases. Another classic application is Slipcases for DVD collections, but also as simple or additional packaging for food or electronic devices.

    Marketing has also discovered the advantages of the practical band. Advertising messages, the brand logo or a claim can be printed on it to accommodate additional advertising messages. Especially with high-quality products, a Slipcases canfurther support the exclusivity.

The Slipcases protects your products

A Slipcases is also called protective packaging. It is slid over the packaging and thus protects it from external influences such as scratches, but also from pressure, impacts or falls. Finishes such as varnish or laminate make the protective cardboard even more resistant to external influences such as oil, grease or moisture.

This also ensures that all printed information is permanently legible and that the material does not fray or discolor even after major stresses.

The Slipcases - Flexible design and advantages

  • You can order our Slipcases in different sizes. The height as well as the Width and the length can be individually configured for you at Palamo. This way you can design the optimal packaging for the dimensions of your product.

    Length, height and Width

    Regarding the length, the minimum value is 25 millimeters, the maximum value is 400 millimeters. As for     Width , you can choose between 10 and 198 millimeters, and as for height, your options range from 50 to 600 millimeters.

    Versatile design options

    In addition, Slipcases offers many advantages for use in a wide variety of applications. For example, you can leave the inner cardboard unprinted and, depending on the choice of material (for example, with grass boxboard or brown natural cardboard), achieve a sustainable look.

    At the same time, you don't have to forego applying logos or advertising messages. You can simply have this information printed on the sleeve. This way you can combine several advantages of a modern packaging solution. Of course, if you want a completely natural look, you can also leave the band unprinted.

    The band also serves as an additional closure. It helps to keep your products safe from external influences. The possibility of attaching the Slipcases can also be used longer by your customers, which in turn has advantages for sustainability in the form of saving resources.

Slipcases from Palamosare available in different materials

Our sliding boxes are not only available in different designs regarding their structure. At Palamo you have a wide choice of different materials.

white folding carton

The chromo board made of virgin fibers is resistant and robust. At the same time, it shines through a favorable price. At Palamo you can get the white cardboard in the variants GC1 and GC2.

TheGC1 cardboard is white on both sides and has a rough back. The GC2 variant, on the other hand, offers a smooth front and back, with the latter designed in a beige color.

The two options also differ in thickness and grammage. The GC1 board weighs 350 grams per square meter and is 0.57 millimeters thick, while the values for the GC2 board are 280 g/m² and 0.52 millimeters.

grass boxboard and brown natural cardboard as a statement for sustainability

You want your customers to get the impression from the packaging that your product is sustainable? Then either the brown natural cardboard or the grass boxboard from Palamo is ideal for your purposes and requirements.

Both variants convince with a natural look. The grass boxboard has a green color, the natural cardboard we offer you in a rich brown. The former also has a particularly appealing feel, while the brown cardboard impresses with its particular stability.

The two variants differ in terms of grammage and thickness. While the brown card weighs 400 g/m², this value for the grass boxboard is 350 grams. The latter is 0.56 millimeters thick, while the cardboard made of grass paper is 0.52 millimeters thick.

  • Bright white cardboard for particularly exclusive products

    You are selling a particularly noble and exclusive product and are looking for packaging that can convey these characteristics to the outside world? Then bright white cardboard is the perfect choice for you.

    It is also known as GZ cardboard. Bright white cardboard has a particularly smooth feel that leaves your customers with an extremely noble impression, both to look at and to touch.

    With a grammage of 450 g/m², it is the heaviest material you can use for your Slipcases . At the same time, it is only 0.52 millimeters thick. At the same time, it is only 0.52 millimeters thick, which further emphasizes its elegant appearance.

    Finishes

    If you would like to add extra value to your sliding box, you can have it finished with one of our finishing options. Two variants are available for this purpose:

    - varnish
    - protective laminate

    Upon request, we can equip your sliding box with a varnish . This protective film makes the Slipcases more resistant to scratches. The printed image is not only additionally protected, but also enhanced. Colors shine even more brilliantly and details come out better. It makes no difference whether you choose a matte or glossy varnish .

    Protective laminate

    Here, the slipcase is not coated with a varnish , but with a film. This enhances the protective and enhancing properties of the protective coating. In addition to matt and glossy foil, you also have the option of finishing the slipcase with a soft-touch laminate. This method gives your Slipcases a noble feel that is somewhat reminiscent of suede. This not only gives your slipcase a noble look, but also gives it the same feel.
