Round, oval and rectangular labels
First of all, you have the possibility to choose the shape of your labels in the Smart Configurator. You can choose between round and rectangular labels.
You should take into account which objects you want to stick the labels on and how the labels are to be labeled. Rectangular unprinted labels are ideal, for example, if you want to print barcodes or prices with your labeling device. The round or oval shape, on the other hand, is suitable for labeling round lids of bottles for beverages or cans in the cosmetics industry.

You can choose rectangular labels for small packages or boxes in the appropriate shape. However, depending on your individual requirements, a round or oval label may also be suitable for such packaging - especially if you want the contents of the label to stand out.

Different winding directions
Once you have decided whether you need round or square labels, use our Smart Configurator to determine the Roll wind direction. Here you can choose from the following variants for the outer wrapping:

The Roll wind direction is especially important if you print your labels mechanically with a labeling machine. You should check beforehand which label is suitable for the machine you are using. Your selection should be based on the type of labeling you are planning. In this way, we supply you with the labels that are ideal for your purposes.

To make sure our blank labels can really be used anywhere, Palamo has a wide selection of different materials for you to choose from. These include:

PP film
The white PP film is available with permanent adhesive and in matte or glossy. Basically, the film has the advantage that it is particularly resistant and tear-proof. Corresponding labels are therefore ideal if the products are exposed to particular external influences, for example if they are transported by sea or may come into contact with fats and oils.
Removable adhesive is suitable if, for example, you are taking inventory and will use the items you have labeled again without the label. You should choose permanent adhesive if the label is to serve as a label for a product. This way, your customers will always have the information they need - be it liability, contact options or the ingredients of your item.
PE film
The white material is also available in matte or glossy. PE film labels can be combined with permanent, removable and extra strong adhesives. Such labels are used, for example, when labeling chemical substances such as lyes.
At the same time, the material convinces with a high degree of sustainability. So you make your final decision here for similar reasons to those for PE film. However, the variant with extra strong adhesive is of course ideal for labels that should not come off under any circumstances.

Finishing - The final touch
You can refine Palamo labels in various ways. On the one hand, you can use a varnish which can be used to coat your labels. This varnish protects your label from external influences such as moisture, UV radiation or scratches. Another advantage of this protective coating is a higher quality look of your label.
Alternatively, you can opt for a protective laminate. In this case, a protective film is applied to the label rather than varnish . This finish provides even better protection against external influences.
